Three Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Serving Pieces, Circa. 1810,

Comprising of two platters and a punch bowl, Platters and bowl are decorated with a sepia and gilt neoclassical band on the rim, surrounding a central shield with scrolled leaf and  and garland supports.

Central initials JAD within the shield indicates these were made for the marriage of John and Ann Donnell of Baltimore, Maryland, the owners of Willowbrook Estate in Baltimore.

The oval dining room from the Willowbrook mansion was removed and re-created in the Baltimore Museum of Art in the mid-1960's before the mansion was demolished. The dining table is set with this Chinese Export dinner service. A dinner plate from the service is in the Dietrich American Foundation.
