French steel scientific laboratory apparatus designed by Jules Duboscq and made by PH & F Pellin of Paris, was used to determine the concentration of a colored chemical solution by comparison with the color of a standard solution. Often used to analyze medical fluids. With a monocular microscope. Maker's label.
