An Edison Clock Face Pole Changer Telegraph Relay, Phonoplex Transwriter ca. 1890-1900,
Mounted on a Painted Cast Iron and Mahogany Based Stamped Edison Patent.
H: 5 W: 8 D: 4 1/2 in.
Condition
Surface wear and scratches to painted metal and varnish on wood, surface soiling. Original wires are brittle with losses to petrified plastic insulator coating on wires. Areas of oxidation to brass, chips and losses to upper cylinder component cap. Glass window needs cleaning. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging.
