Barber Shop Neon Light And Clock, Mid 20th Century,
A clock by the Neon Clock Sales Co., circa 1940s, which features a black face with white Arabic numerals and a chrome and metal body. When plugged in, the clock displays a green neon band around the exterior edge of its face. The clock features a handle at top and two hooks. Above these has been installed an arcing neon light spelling the words Barber Shop. Both neon elements and the clock are powered by a single electrical cord which plugs into a standard outlet.
H: 27 W: 35 D: 8 in.
Proceeds to benefit the Summit County Humane Society and The American Cancer Society.
Both the neon elements and clock are in working order. Areas of paint loss to blacked out portions of the neon Barber Shop letters, wear, grime and use commensurate with age. Gray’s Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
