Bound in full grain leather, decorative blind stamped covers, raised bands, gilt title and volume number at spine, inside dentellers, marbled endpapers and marbled edges.
H: 8 1/2 W: 5 1/2 in.
Condition
Very Good. Headband of Vol. III pulled away. Front free endpaper of Vol. IV partially detached.
With engraved armorial bookplate of the Earl of Ilchester (presumably Stephen Fox-Strangways, 1st Earl of Ilchester) mounted to front pastedown.
