3 volumes. 8vo. Half-bound leather with marbled boards. Black ruled and gilt title on spine.

Vol. 1: 164 pp., 11 folding plates.

Vol. 3: 296 pp., 22 folding plates.

Each volume is H: 9 x W: 6 1/8 x D: 1 1/8 in.


Coquilhat was the first to develop the mathematical formula for rocket propulsion, which determines its performance in a vacuum. This formula was rediscovered by Konstantin Tsiolkovsky over 20 years after Coquilhat.

Condition

Poor. Spine and corners of volumes are rubbed and bumped, with slight losses. Library sticker label on spines. Boards scuffed. Slight foxing and browning throughout.

Embossed stamp on all volumes: "Artilleriet."

Pencil inscription of "ID 101" library number on interior front board.

Ink initials "K. A. B. B." on interior boards of all volumes.
