Crown Gasoline Car Topper, Mid 20th Century,
A two-sided car topper advertising for Crown Gasoline, with the text: It’s Purple | It’s Powerful and the graphic of a crown. The frame of the sign is red metal, with cardboard lithograph inserts, which are printed on either side. Sign secures to the top of a car with suction cups and cloth belts.
H: 8 1/2 W: 37 D: 28 in.
Proceeds to benefit the Summit County Humane Society and The American Cancer Society.
Staining, discoloration and dings to the signage. Suction cups have some splits at the outer edges. Areas of paint loss, wear, grime and use commensurate with age. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging. Gray's Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
