Each volume is approximately 350 pp., 33 plates (13 of which fold), including frontispieces in Vol. 1 and 3. Errata slips in vols. 4, 5, and 7.

Fair. Heads and tails of spines bumped and scuffed, Slight losses to raised spines. Boards scuffed and rubbed. Lacking volumes 8 and 9. Minor foxing on some of text. Slight toning to front and end flyleaf edges.

Bookplate: "Marietta College."
