Delco Batteries Tin Lithograph Sign, Mid 20th Century,
A single-sided tin lithograph sign with a wooden frame backing advertising Delco Batteries with a graphic illustration. Marked AM-5-40 MADE IN USA FORM A175. Two metal appliques with holes cut into them are nailed to the back of the wooden frame and are able to rotate away from the frame to provide space from which it may be hung or mounted on a wall.
H: 34 1/2 W: 12 1/2 in.
Proceeds to benefit the Summit County Humane Society and The American Cancer Society.
Areas of discoloration and rust in text, graphic and near edges of tin. Some separation of tin from wooden frame. Pitting and scratches to the back side of the sign. Areas of paint loss, wear, grime and use commensurate with age. Gray’s Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
