English Carved Polychrome Ship's Figurehead, Early 19th Century,
With Lamb and Chalice on shoulder.
H: 19 W: 15 3/4 D: 10 in.
Commensurate with age and use. Losses to painted surface, areas of losses to wood. The right and left flanking panels are loose and do not appear to be of the same period. There are areas of joint separation. A hole on top left of head. Areas of wormhole damage throughout, prominent in left front and back.
With Lamb and Chalice on shoulder.
