English Mirror Galvanometer by Griffin of London, 19th/20th Century
Brass and wood instrument to read weak electrical currents according to William Thomson's (later Lord Kelvin) specifications, patented in the United Kingdom in 1858. Also known as a Kelvin Galvanometer. This tripod version dates from circa 1900.

Missing a small screw to the wood base. General wear and grime commensurate with use.
