An English Walnut Chamber Pot Bed Step Commode,19th Century,
With porcelain insert.
H: 18 W: 17 1/2 D: 18 in.
Condition is commensurate with age and use. Sun bleaching to top. Hinges have been replaced. Wormhole damage to inside of rim. The frame that supports the porcelain bowl has two cracks across from each other. The lid to the commode has losses to outer right and left edges. Minor joint seperation. Legs have no play. Overall structure is solid.
With porcelain insert.
