A George III Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Clock by John Gelling, Liverpool, 19th Century.
Depicts a seascape and landscape.
Having sun and moon phase painted dial fitted in a broken arched pediment case above flanking reeded columns and shaped door with fruit wood inlay depicting urns, geometric banding, ribbon leaf and fans raised on bracket feet.
Having two weights, pendulum, and clock winder. Missing key.
H: 95 W: 26 D: 12 in.
Condition
Surface scuffs and losses to painted dial, losses to veneer, detached glue blocks. Not in working order. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging. Gray's Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
