Poor. Pages are warped from water damage and humidity. Foxing and browning throughout. Significant water damage, losses to edges. Ink stains on back board.

Ink inscription interior front board: "Wm. Holden Soulcounter-hull (to Mr. South Gray U.S. American, for his acceptance) with compliments, 15 April 1836."

Inscription beneath front ink inscription about other works of author, William Henry.

Bookplate: "John A. Davidson."
