Hyvis Motor Oil Framed Tin Sign, Mid 20th Century,
A single-sided sign which reads: Mileage Metered Hyvis Motor Oils Super-Refined Pennsylvania. Marked: Trade Marks Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. and Property of Hyvis Oils, Inc. Framed in a wooden frame which is painted green. Reinforced wood at back of the sign.
H: 35 1/4 W: 53 in.
Proceeds to benefit the Summit County Humane Society and The American Cancer Society.
Areas of discoloration, scratching and paint loss to the sign, small dents adjacent to some of the nail and screw-holes as well as wear, grime and use commensurate with age. Frame of the sign also has paint losses and some losses and gouges to the wood. Gray’s Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
