Japanese Crackle Glaze Celadon Vase, 19th/20th Century
Features intentional crazing and enamel decoration of songbirds and plum blossoms and a black band border with stylized turquoise ruyi pattern. The rim border is gilded. Attributed to the Seto workshops of Kawamoto Masakichi during the late Victorian period. With carved stand.
H: 15 W: 9 1/2 D: 9 1/2 in.
Carved stand has evidence of gluing a joint.
