Lord Kelvin Voltmeter, 1880-1905
English brass and glass analog voltmeter on a wooden stand, no. 1648, made in London or Glasgow by James White to the specification of William Thomson, later Lord Kelvin's patent. Sometimes used to determine if there is any electricity power in a battery. Original lacquered brass with a leveled glass plate over silvered dial.
