Magic Lantern Slides and Magic Book, 19th Century,
An Occult Mysteries of Persian Magician slide in a wooden frame stamped McLilly of Columbus, OH, and a second magician in a mechanical wooden frame with crank. The rotating slider rotates with images of bats, a cat, the devil, etc. With a book by Sir Walter Scott, Demonology and Witchcraft, 1877.
Mechanical Slide Dimensions: H: 4 1/16 x W: 9 x D: 1/2 in.
Mechanical slide will move but with difficulty owing to a missing part. Book covers and binding have separated.
