8vo. Re-bound quarter bound Moroccan leather with marbled boards. Raised spine and black ruled, gilt title.

452 pp., frontispiece, illustrations.


H: 8 1/2 W: 6 D: 1 1/2 in. Poor. While binding is in fair to good condition, with slight scuffing and rubbing, the pages are in poor condition. Re-binding has rearranged some pages. Missing pages i-ix, and xi-xiv. Frontispiece misplaced by binder at back of book. Slight browning. Water damage and staining to many pages in top right corner.

Illegible signature on back flyleaf "James ..."
Spine has "1880" with "66" in pen above.
