Over 35 thin section samples of minerals, with case and drawers. Set of 6 books on mineralogy. 19th and 20th century.
Mineral slides include borax, mica, topaz, and several different silicates.

Each book approximately 350 pp., with tables and illustrations, with index.

Box dim. are H: 4 1/4 x W: 13 1/2 x D: 11 7/8 in.

Largest book is H: 9 1/8 x W: 6 x D: 1 1/2 in. Poor. Books are bumped, rubbed, and scuffed with losses. Toning throughout. Drawers for thin sections have many loose wooden bracketing. Box is split and separating. Many thin sections have no samples in them or a few loose samples.
