A Nairne Compound Monocular Chest Microscope, Signed Nairne, London 1760,
Cuff-type with six objectives, Lieberkuhn reflector in case, stage forceps, fish plate and cord, spring stage, live box, talc box, dark cone, two slider specimen.
Contained in a mahogany fitted case with key. Square pillar for microscope is hinged at right interior side of case.
H: 5 3/8 W: 11 1/4 D: 5 3/8 in.
