Condition

Poor. Spine rubbed and tearing. Edges scuffed and water damaged. Rubbing, scuffs, and ink stains on boards. Extensive browning and foxing throughout.

Stamp: "Aylett H. Buckner's" (1816-1894) U.S. representative from Missouri.

Missing plate 64, pp. 4 in vol. 2.

Ink inscriptions on Vol. 1 errata and Vol. 2 p. 360.
