Palmistry Fortune Teller Arcade Game 1¢,
A palmistry arcade game, c. 1927. Manufactured by Exhibit Supply Co., Chicago, Illinois. Carved oak cabinet with glass face. Carved and painted wood marquee. A gouache painted fortune teller inside of the display stands at a table with a black cat and a backdrop of hands and stars. Below the fortune teller are instructions for the game. A player puts in a penny (one coin slot for men, one for women) and their fortune reading is revealed via a printed card.
H: 89 W: 29 D: 12 1/4 in.
Proceeds to benefit the Summit County Humane Society and The American Cancer Society. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
In working order. Comes with both original and reproduction fortune cards. Cabinet appears to be refinished. Craqueleur to paint on mystic. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging. Gray's Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
