Vol. I Observations on Egypt; Vol. II, Pt 1 Observation on Palaestine or the Holy Land, Syria, Mesopotamia, Cyprus, and Candia. Vol II, pt. II. Observations on the islands of the Archipelago, Asia Minor, Thrace, Greece, and some other parts of Europe.
2 volumes: illustrations, maps, plans. Decorative initials, head and tail pieces. With 178 engraved plates, plans and maps (the 12 botanical plates by G.D. Ehret).

Bound in rebacked leather, raised bands, gilt borders, red leather spine label with gilt spine title, green leather spine label with decorative gilt volume number, blind stamped pattern at edges, speckled edges.

Good to Very good, edges rubbed, and corners bumped, some slight foxing throughout, endpapers browned, some slight offsetting.
