8vo. Red cloth with embossed and gilt covers. Richly gilt spines and title. Blue top edges.


Each volume is H: 7 3/4 x W: 5 1/2 x D: 1 3/8 in. Poor. Rubbing and bumping of covers, spines, and corners. Cloth of many spines fraying or significantly bumped. Toning throughout, with a few volumes with slight foxing. Vol. 1 of Robertson's Charles the fifth has slight water damage. Vol. 2 of Robertson's losses to spine. Vol. 3 of Robertson's many pages bent. Vol. 3 Ferdinand and Isabella has slight mildew stain on front interior board. Water stain to miscellanies vol. Spines exhibit sun-fading.
