Pulver Chewing Gum Dispenser, Early to Mid 20th Century,
A Pulver Chewing Gum dispenser. Red porcelain enamel with white accents. Text reads Pulver Chewing Gum One Cent Delivers A Tasty Chew. Has two coin slots for two flavors: Hot Chu and Joy Mint. At the center of the machine is a glass window below which is set a metal grate. Inside of this is a painted metal policeman designed to move with coin deposit.
H: 21 W: 9 D: 4 1/2 in.
Proceeds to benefit the Summit County Humane Society and The American Cancer Society.
Missing original key. Dispensing function not tested. Areas of loss to porcelain, especially at corners of the front of the machine. Additionally present are some scratches, areas of discoloration and grime. Gray’s Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
