Memoir on the ruins of Babylon, by Claudius James Rich, Esq. Resident for the Honourable East India Company at the court of the Pasha of Bagdad. With three plates. And bound with second memoir of Babylon: containing an inquiry into the correspondence between the ancient description of Babylon and the remains still visible on the site. Suggested by the "Remarks" of Major Rennel published in the Archaeologia, by Claudius James Rich, Esq.

Good, cover and edges heavily rubbed, corners bumped, covers soiled, some slight offsetting, slight foxing throughout including on plates.
