2 volumes. Withfolded numbered leaves of plates XII, XIII, XIV, XV, illustrated initials and marginal notes.

Bound in blind stamped armorial bindings, gilt dentelle edges, raised bands, top edged speckled.

Condition

Poor. Cover of Volume 1 detached. Edges and covered bumped and rubbed. Some offsetting of text and foxing throughout. Lacks plates I to XI and XVI to XXVII.
Provenance: With” American Antiquarian Society Worcester, Mass.,“ in ink on t.p.; with, “Presented to the American Antiquarian Society by William Gay Esq. on Suffield, Con. Marh 1835,” in ink on front pastedown endpapers; with “Wm. Gay’s Suffield,” in ink on front pastedown. With bookplate, “John A. Davidson,” at rear pastedown endpapers. With “Alexander King,” in ink on rear free endpapers.
