Poor. Lacking Vol. 5. Many front boards detached from volumes. Spines are torn, rubbed, and scuffed, with losses. Covers are rubbed and scuffed, with ink stains on several. Corners bumped and scuffed, with losses. Water damaged. Foxing and browning throughout.

Bookplates: "Petersburg Benevolent Mechanic Association LIbrary. No. 14. No. 3172," "Speculative Society Petersburg," and "John Spencer Colepepper."
