SQUIER, Ephraim (1821-1888). Peru, Incidents of Travel and Exploration in the Land of the Incas. PRESCOTT, William (1796-1859). Philip the Second (3 vols). JONES, Christopher (1937-2015), Tikal Report No. 16, Excavations in the East Plaza of Tikal (2 vols.).

Squier is blue cloth bound, with gilt illustration cover, and gilt spine. Publisher: Henry Holt and Company, New York. 1877. Frontispiece, xx, 599 pp., with illustrations, with index.

Prescott is Half-bound leather with marbled boards. Raised and richly gilt spine. Marbled edges. Publisher J. P. Lippincott & Co., Philadelphia. 1867. 3 vols. Each volume approximately contains frontispiece, xv, 600 pp., with portraits and maps.

Jones is teal cloth bound, with gilt cover and spine. Publisher the University Museum, Philadelphia. 1996.

Largest book is H: 9 x W: 6 1/2 x D: 2 in. Poor. Front and back boards of all three volumes of Prescott detached. Leather cracking, with significant losses. Water damage and staining. Scuffed, rubbed, and bumped. Toning throughout. Squire volume has slight toning. Heads and tails scuffed and bumped, with slight losses to corners and edges of boards. Jones vol. 2 is slightly bent at spine.

Ink inscription in Squier: "W. M. Lawrence."

Bookplate in Prescott: "Robert O. Evans."
