Sinclair Lubrication Porcelain Enamel Sign, Mid 20th Century,
A single-sided embossed porcelain enamel sign in red, green, white and black, bearing the text: Lubrication. This sign was produced for Sinclair Gasoline and Motor Oils.
H: 9 W: 84 in.
Proceeds to benefit the Summit County Humane Society and The American Cancer Society.
The sign has a few notable areas of paint loss: at the border above and below the letter R, and just over the top of the letter N. A few more minor scratches and gouges present, particularly in the exterior border near the grommet holes by which the sign would have been hung. Other areas of wear, grime and use commensurate with age. Gray’s Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
