Fine Antiques, Art and Decorative Art
The Gray's January Fine Antiques, Art and Decorations Auction features porcelain and art accepted and displayed in Paris. At the Paris Exhibition of 1878, two of a set of eight Minton Cabinet Plates attributed to Christopher Dresser and formerly belonging to Newton A. Rockefeller were exhibited in Paris. Continuing a Parisian theme is the large landscape by Marcel Adolph Bain entitled Le Petit Pont that earned a place at the Society des Artistes’ 1914 Salon. A tureen from the Brühl'sche Allerlei Service and a Shoo Fly mechanical fly swatter are but two of the many other delights and surprises. Gray's Auctioneers info@graysauctioneers.com
