A single-sided porcelain enamel sign with a wooden frame advertising The General Tire in white letters against a blue backdrop. Outlined in orange. Sign is seated in a wooden frame which is painted black. Reverse of the sign is white porcelain.
H: 59 3/4 W: 19 1/2 in.
Proceeds to benefit the Summit County Humane Society and The American Cancer Society.
Small area of loss to bottom left corner of enamel on front side. Areas of loss to paint on frame as well as gouges to the wood of the frame. Metal elements of the back of the frame have some discoloration. Areas of wear, grime and use commensurate with age. Gray’s Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
