Bookplate: "Anne Lloyd" scratched out. Possible wife of Bishop William Lloyd (1637-1710).

Ink signature of Ann Lloyd, scratched out.

Pencil inscription "J. Britnel 11/4/5" on back interior board. Poor. Front board detached. Toning and browning throughout. Ex-libris inscriptions on title page and flyleaf. Corners bumped, scuffed, and rubbed, with significant losses. Spine cracked, with losses. Encyclopedia entry pasted to interior back board. Back cover cracked and tearing. Water damage has warped boards and pages.
