A Victorian Renaissance Revival Gilt Carved Oak and Walnut Veneer Marble Top Parlor Table, ca. 1870's.
H: 30 1/2 W: 36 1/2 D: 22 1/2 in.
Water damage and repair to marble top. Surface wear and scratches to wood. Casters replaced. Cracks and separations to wooden elements. Losses to veneer. Lower central stretcher lacking veneer medallion and gold highlights. An under finial lacking top ball to one leg support. Losses to gilt decoration with 20th century restoration to gold gilding. Joints loose. Original finish.
