Condition
Condition: Fair. Front and rear covers detached, covers and edges rubbed, some slight marginal notes throughout, some slight offsetting of prints on plates. Lacks pl. XX (Map for the Netherlands), pl. XXII (Map of Spain and Portugal), pl. XXIII (Map of Italy), pl. XXIV (Map of Turkey and Hungary). With library stamp, “Biblioteca Apostolica,” [Vatican Apostolic Library] on “Directions to the Binder;” with bookplate at front pastedown endpaper, “Ex Libris Frederic Remington;” with bookplate at rear pastedown endpapers, “John A. Davidson.”
