X Powder Display And Product, Early To Mid 20th Century,
A rare two-sided A-frame countertop cardboard lithograph display for X Powder featuring a smiling serviceman. Originally a part of a McKay Tire Chains countertop display. Twelve triangular cardboard and tin containers of product are affixed to the display. Included in the lot are ten additional triangular containers of X Powder as well as a tin jar of X brand Rust Inhibitor.

Largest dimensions: H: 14 1/2 x W: 11 1/4 x D: 7 1/4 in.

Proceeds to benefit the Summit County Humane Society and The American Cancer Society.

Condition

Areas of paint loss, wear, grime and use commensurate with age. Bends to some portions of cardboard display as well as one of the display containers. Metal lids on some of the containers show discoloration and pitting. Gray’s Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
