Framed dimensions: H: 30 x W: 42 in.
H: 24 W: 36 in.
No signs of in-painting or restoration. Light tobacco staining throughout and some light surface soiling from water drops in the sky and lake areas. Visible stretcher silhouette and indentation to canvas. Light vertical craquelure, consistent with having rolled the canvas. A small sealing paint splatter in the lower right corner, about 1/8” in diameter. The frame has some surface scratches, losses to gilt, and water stains – and there is some poor restoration to the frame from pickling. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging. Gray's Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
