An Antique Brass Prism Spectroscope,
An antique lacquered brass prism spectroscope with two arms: one for viewing a sample, the other tube holding a collimator through which light from a light source is directed. Between the arms is stationed a prism which disperses the light into different colors (wavelengths.)
Measurements: H: 12 1/2 x W: 17 3/4 x D: 15 1/2 in.
Wear and discoloration to brass and metal elements. Losses to mirrored prism. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging. Gray's Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
