An Antique Reichert Dual-View Microscope,
An unusual brass and black enameled metal microscope with a wooden base, produced by C. Reichert Wien, No. 51610. Imported by James G. Biddle, Philadelphia.

Instrument has two barrels to accommodate two observers with a toggle which switches the image between the two. Coarse focus is applied to the stage while the fine focus is applied to the observing tubes. Missing objective and eyepieces.

Measurements: H: 11 1/2 x W: 13 x D: 10 1/2 in.

Condition

Missing objective and eyepieces. Scratches to brass and discoloration to metal. Some crazing to enameled elements. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging. Gray's Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
