Fair to Poor. Cloth on spine of vol. 1 separating. Both spines fraying, bumped, and rubbed. Sun fading of spines. Covers slightly rubbed. Corners bumped.

Bookplates, interior front board: "Dr. Sydney Ross, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York."
Motto and crest of Order of the Garter, no name "153 G."
