Copeland Hallmark Porcelain Dinner Service Set
A porcelain dinner service set in the Hallmark pattern comprising a total of fifty five pieces with gilt galdroon rims.
Eight 10 inch dinner plates, eight 9 3/4 inch shallow bowls,seven 9 inch salad plates, eight cups, eight saucers, one 14 1/2 inch platter, one 11 inch serving plate, one 10 1/2 inch serving plate, one lidded tureen and one gravy boat. All are marked either Davis Collamore & Co. Ltd, Royal Worcester England. or Copeland's China England, Gilman Collamore & CO.
Together with ten 8 3/4 inch gilt porcelain bowls which are marked: D & Co. France, L. Bernardand & Co. Limoges, imported by Higgins & Seiter New York.
Minor loss to one foot of footed porcelain tureen. Very minor loss to gilt on handle of gravy boat. Hairline crack at center of one of the Copeland bowls which is visible on either side. Knife marks to all plates. Minor loss to gilt on a few of the bowls and plates. Slight discoloration to one saucer; hairline crack in another saucer. Loss to gilt in a few places on a few of the Limoges bowls; hairline crack in one, small chip in another along edge. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging. Gray's Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
