3 Volumes. 8vo. Half-bound leather with marbled boards. Raised and richly gilt spine with gilt title. Marbled edges.

Vol. 1: 554 pp., with illustrations.
Vol. 2: 546 pp. with illustrations (including 1 folding schematic).
Vol. 3: 794 pp., with illustrations, with corrections for the three volumes.

Each volume is H: 9 7/8 x W: 6 3/8 x D: 2 in.

Condition

Request Condition Report
Poor. Spine, corners, and edges bumped, scuffed, and rubbed. Some loss on corners. Boards are rubbed and scuffed extensively. Slight foxing throughout. Vol. 1 front board almost completely detached. Flyleaves torn with some losses. Vol. 1 inscription sticking to front interior board. Vol. 3 spine has separated from pages, and flyleaf with inscription is loose.

Inscription: "A Present from Captain Henry Holbeach, 60th Rifles, 1839."

Embossed Stamp: "Library of Jay Luvaas. MJL."
