Franz Anton Bustelli Nymphenburg Porcelain Liebesgruppe, 18th Century,
Made by the German porcelain factory at Nymphenburg ca. 1756. Unmarked. The pair of lovers embrace among a stone ruin, a dog and goat with gilded C scrolls and foliage. Polychromed decoration.
H: 10 3/4 W: 8 1/2 D: 7 in.
The dog is separated. Losses to the tree trunk and the lady's foot. Firing crack at base of wall. Wear and grime as well as fleabites, particularly at the edges of protruding parts.
Made by the German porcelain factory at Nymphenburg ca. 1756. Unmarked. The pair of lovers embrace among a stone ruin, a dog and goat with gilded C scrolls and foliage. Polychromed decoration.
