A Robert Muencke of Berlin, Germany, optical spectrum projector, likely dating from the early 20th century used for physics or chemistry demonstrations and experiments. It features a rectangular housing constructed from blackened metal, possibly iron or steel, designed to contain and focus a light source; a Wm Gaertner of Chicago acoustic instrument including a 440 tuning fork designed for demonstrating acoustic resonance; a 90 degree protractor quadrant on rod; with other instruments on tripod or flat bases.
