Brass finished case, double-sided mechanical chromatrope magic lantern slide with a colored photo of Ulysses S. Grant as general during the Civil War. Grant is surrounded by patriotic stars and stripes.
H: 4 3/8 W: 8 5/8 D: 3/8 in.
Scratches and wear to the bronze finish case, color losses to the portrait background. General wear commensurate with age and use. The stars and stripes filters do spin. A red repair sleeve to keep the crank positioned correctly.
