Our first timed auction of the year, features voluminous volumes and curious curiosities. Lot 126, Tielke's volume on the war between the Prussians, Austrians, and Russians, is from the Library of Thomas Howard, the British deserter and United States supporter. Lot 53 isJohn Greaves volume on the history of English weights and measures. Lot 1 is an Andreas Vogler sundial and compass. Lot 7 is a Young & Sons transit and tripod. Whether lost in a book or lost in the woods, there is something to keep the thrill of discovery alive in this short, sweet, auction.

Kodak film enlarger. Set of 5 Kodak and other photography books, with a light meter slide rule. 20th century.
Includes the following titles: Kodak Master Darkroom Dataguide (KODAK 1966); Quality Enlarging with KODAK B/W Papers (1982); The Photography of Colored Objects (KODAK 1935); Motion Pictures through the Microscope by (KODAK N.D.); The Theory of the Photographic Process by MEES (1946).

First edition of Quality enlarging. Kodak Special edition of MEES. With slide ruler available light computer, mid-20th century.

Englarger has moving focal lens, folding kick-stand, and folding base-plate.

Largest book is H: 8 11 x W: 8 1/2 x D: 1/2 in.

Enlarger is H: 27 x W: 12 1/2 x D: 14 in. Fair. Quality enlarging book has warping to plastic covering, with bumped and rubbed corners. Photography of Colored Objects has slight toning. Englarger has one pane of double pane negative holder broken. Folding base-plate and kick-stand still move. One of base-plate hinges is slightly bent, but still moves freely.
