Set of 5 volumes on ARCTIC EXPLORATION.
Titles include: HAYES, Isaac, An Arctic Boat Journey (1867); MCCLINTOCK, Leopold, A Narrative of the Discovery of the Fate of Sir John Franklin (1840 and 1860); KANE, Elisha Kent, Arctic Explorations in the Years 1853, '54, '55 (1856, 2 vols.).

Each volume is 8vo, cloth bound, with embossed covers.

Each volume contains approximately: frontispiece, 400 pp., with illustrations and folding maps.

Largest volume is H: 9 x W: 6 1/4 x D: 1 1/2 in. Fair to poor. HAYES is lacking folding chart. Covers scuffed, bumped, and rubbed, with slight losses to corners.

Bookplate: "John A. Davidson." With owner's inscriptions in pencil and ink on front pastedowns and flyleaves.
