A Continental Bronze Naval Cannon, 18th/19th century.
Non-functioning.
2 inch bore with 34 inch overall length.
Mounted on a carved and painted oak two wheeled carriage.
Also includes two quoins.
Size of carriage: 30 x 18 in.


Condition

Lead filled priming vent, clear bore, multiple dents and scratches, two mounting screw holes to underside of rear barrel, dents to button and trunnions and barrel, chips and losses to carriage but wheels are functioning. All lots have imperfections or the effects of aging. Gray's Auctioneers shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions.
