2 volumes. 4to. Half bound Scotch deerskin on gray cloth boards. Raised spine with gilt title.

Vol. 1: Frontispiece, 400 pp., with illustrations, with original covers tipped in at rear.
Vol. 2: 401-812 pp., with illustrations and index to both volumes. Original covers tipped in at rear.

Each volume is H: 11 1/8 x W: 9 x D: 1 1/2 in.

Fair to poor. Panels and corners scuffed and rubbed, with slight losses. Slight toning throughout. Smoke smell throughout the pages.

Binding slip in front flyleaf of both volumes noting the use of Scotch Deerskin due to shortage of food during the Great War (WWI).
